This was an installation of a foundation for a garage. The original slope of the yard was too much for the project requirements, so we had to excavate an area for the garage, plus the depth of the slab and footings, haul away all the soil, and build it.

When the client initially reached out to JT Contracting, we had discussed the cost of the building and the foundation together. The initial building they were considering was to be delivered with a pre-built floor. Due to their slope, we recommended a building that could attach directly to their concrete to achieve the lowest possible floor height. We can supply metal buildings that achieve this goal, but the client preferred the look of a wood sided building, so they chose a wood framed building that could attach either directly to the concrete or to a block foundation wall, and we supplied only the foundation.

We excavated, hauled away the dirt, built the forms, prepped the base, placed reinforcements, scheduled the pour, finished the concrete and removed the forms. The area of the garage that is interior, is a smooth power-troweled finish. The small apron is a brushed finish.

JT Contracting was able to design the layout of this driveway, excavate the area, build the form, pour and finish with a brushed finish. The client wanted an area to park next to the house, without having to put gravel in their yard, as well as a small walkway from the parking to the back patio for clean easy accessibility to the house.

From start to finish, we worked with this client to achieve the ultimate back yard goal. They had inquired about a shed, we worked with them on the design process, and HOA requirements, and even as far as acquiring quotes for the siding to match their house. We planned out their concrete pad, also from design to done, and scheduled everything to get the logistics to flow so it wouldn't be a construction zone for several weeks. We got their shed pad poured and cured in time for the build to go smoothly.

The client had many projects in progress at once, but during the course of the remodeling of the home, the original sidewalk was damaged. JT Contracting was able to demo and repour the front walkway for the client, making entry into the front of the home safer, while increasing the beauty of the front yard. These photos were taken immediately after removing the forms (and one with forms still in place).
